Deactivated Matching Schmidt-Rubin Rifle SN. 2643 -
Deactivated Swiss Schmidt-Rubin 7.5mm straight pull rifle in good overall deactivated condition which is able to dry fire, with full matching numbers. The grip of the bolt has a piece missing, hence price. The Schmidt-Rubin straight pulls were a series of Swiss Army service rifles in use between 1889 to 1953. They are distinguished by the straight-pull bolt action invented by Rudolf Schmidt. This, along with their large magazine made them the most advanced manually operated infantry rifle in use from the turn of the century until the mid 1950s. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
