Deactivated Very Rare Portuguese Model 1935/06 Luger 7.65mm Luger Calibre Pistol in very good, original deactivated condition. Mauser contract, 1935 manufacture with GNR, Garde Nationale Republicanie stamp and Portuguese Seguranca and Carregada markings. Full matching numbers, except the magazine. Mauser only made 564 guns for this contract, for the Portuguese Fascist Republican National Guard, who were a specialist military unit responsible at the time for military indoctrination, executions of state enemies, and guarding high risk targets, amongst other things.
