Deactivated MAB Model D SN. 2254 ^
Deactivated French Navy MAB Model D 7.65mm Pistol in very good deactivated condition, with naval crest on the slide. The MAB Model D Pistol went into service in 1933 and they were made until 1982. They were used by the French armed forces until the late 1950s. They are still used by some French police departments for undercover carry work and are also common in North Africa. They were basically an improved and reworked copy of the Browning 1922 design and as such, were reliable and accurate sidearm. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
