Deactivated Norwegian Kongsberg 1911 .45 ACP in very good deactivated condition. Latest EU spec, so moving slide, trigger, and safety, but non firing action. The Kongsberg was a M1911 copy, built under licence from Colt for the Norwegian military. They were made from 1918 until 1947 and almost all the parts are interchangeable with the original Colts. Some of them were reputably used by the British S.O.E during the war in Scandinavia and they were a favourite with the Norwegian resistance, as the heavy calibre easily penetrated the heavy winter clothing of the German troops. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
