Hybrid gun with Colt upper and Para Ordnance double column feed lower, with 17 shot magazine, compensator, extended mag release, beaver tail grip safety, ambidextrous safety, speed hammer, combined flat mainspring housing and jet funnel, rapid cocking grip, alloy grip panels/ thumb protectors, and Aimpoint Red Dot Optic and mount. A custom, handmade beautiful example of the gunmakers art. The 1911 type Pistol and its clones have been in service for over a century with various armies around the world. They are still being produced by over twenty manufacturers and the top of the line guns can cost thousands of pounds. It has served the US armed forces in every war, from the trenches of WWI, to the deserts of Iraq and is still the issue weapon of several US Special Forces units, like Delta and MEUSOC.
