Deactivated Very Rare Krag Jorgenson 6.5mm Carbine. Very good deactivated condition, with beautiful, smooth action and 1916 dated. The Krag Jorgenson Rifles and Carbines were first introduced in 1886 and were in service until the end of WWII. They armed the Norwegian, Danish and US armed forces in various calibres and barrel lengths and with small detail differences between the various models for over sixty years. The thing they all had in common was the unique side loading magazine, their exceedingly smooth actions and their famous accuracy at long ranges. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
