Deactivated Rare German Kdtur Lille Flare Pistol in fair cosmetic, very good mechanical deactivated condition with full working action. The Kommandantur Lille flare gun was made for German forces during WWI and were used for signalling and to fire parachute flares to illuminate the battlefield at night. They were made in a semi-official capacity at the Lille depot when the Germans occupied that part of France. They were never an officially adopted piece of ordnance, but enough were made in a short period, that they are recognised as such. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
