.
Deactivated Rare Nazi Kar 98 7.92mm Schießbecher Rifle, 1944 dated in excellent deactivated condition, with an extremely rare Gewehrgranatengerät attached. Complete with original leather case (1942 dated), that carries the grenade cup, sight and spanner. The launcher and sight are removable. The Gewehrgranatengerät, or Schießbecher (shooting Cup) was introduced in 1942 and fired a 30mm grenade up to 250 metres. It used special ammunition with a wooden bullet to arm and propel the grenade. There is not much to say about the Kar 98 rifle that has not been said before. The Mauser action is the most widely copied bolt action type in the world. Almost all sporting rifles are based on the Mauser action. They are known for their strength, reliability and accuracy. The Kar 98 served the Wehrmacht with distinction in WWII and are still used today by target shooters. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
