Deactivated High Standard Nickel Plated Model .22 LR Derringer. In excellent deactivated condition, with presentation case. The High Standard Derringer first appeared in 1960 and is still being made today. It is a modern design, with a double action only trigger that alternates the internal hammer between the two barrels. It is designed to be held with the fore finger alongside the barrels and then the firer points at the target and shoots. Apparently this works rather well! All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
