Deactivated Helwan Pistol

.
Deactivated Egyptian Helwan 9mm Pistol in excellent deactivated condition. The Helwan pistol was a licenced copy of the Beretta 951, which was Berettas first post war design and made use of the P38 locking mechanism, which they utilise to this day. A very high quality pistol and indistinguishable from the original Beretta, except for the markings. Egypt sold these pistols throughout the Middle East and they are still the standard issue sidearm of several Arab nations. Strangely, the Israelis also adopted this model; however they got theirs from Beretta! All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
