Deactivated Hawken Rifle SN. 0626 “

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

Deactivated Hawken .45 Calibre Percussion Rifle in excellent deactivated condition. Latest EU spec, so the hammer is disabled, but the trigger can be set and clicked. The original Hawken rifles were flintlock actions and were made by the Hawken brothers. The first example appeared around 1823. They were shorter and of a heavier calibre than the Earlier Kentucky rifles, from which they are descended. Copies of these rifles were made by various gunsmiths throughout the continent and eventually evolved into percussion ignition system firearms. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
