Deactivated Harrington & Richardson Pistol SN. 0853 ^
Deactivated Rare Harrington & Richardson .32 ACP Pistol. These were basically a licenced copy of the Webley Model 1909 design and differed in having a concealed hammer and utilising coiled recoil springs, instead of the leaf spring used in the British design. They were of very good quality and sound design. They are notable, in that the US War Department bought a small number (less than 500 units) in WWII and some of these ended up in the hands of OSS (Office of Strategic Services) operatives in Europe and the Far East. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
