Deactivated Yugoslav M56 7.62mm Sub Machine Gun in excellent overall deactivated condition. Latest EU Spec, with moving steel dummy bolt (under spring pressure), selector, and moving trigger. The M56 submachine gun saw service from 1956 until 1992, but many were used in the civil war during the break up of former Yugoslavia. The M56 is not a clone of the MP 40, as many say. It has been influenced by that design but has marked differences. It is a very reliable design and has good accuracy at ranges out to 200 metres, which is better than most SMGs. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom, and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
