Deactivated Cased Colt 1873 Revolver SN. 4922 ^

Availability: In stock

£450.00

Quick Overview

Deactivated 1873 Colt Peacemaker .22 Calibre Revolver in excellent deactivated condition, with wooden case, ammo boxes, screwdriver, and cleaning rod. These revolvers were originally sold as air cartridge firing guns but these were banned in the UK a few years ago now. The barrel have been bored out to look like a .38 calibre gun. The Peacemaker model was first introduced by Colt in 1873. It has the distinction of having the longest continual production run of any gun in history and has been widely copied all over the world, in every conceivable calibre, barrel length and size. Revolver experts agree that it is one of the best handling wheel guns in the world and is one of the easiest weapons to maintain and shoot instinctively. A total classic in every sense. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
