Deactivated Gasser Revolver SN. 6261 ^
Deactivated Belgian Gasser Type 11mm Revolver in fair, original deactivated condition. Latest EU spec, so moving trigger, hammer, loading gate, and clear cylinder, but non firing action. The Austrian Gasser Revolver was in service in several different variations from the 1870s right up until the end of World War One. They were of a conventional, rear loading gate, double action design and were very up to date for the time, when they were introduced. They fired the massive 11.4mm round that tended to literally destroy anything that was unfortunate enough to come into contact with it. Although, by the end of World War One they were considered obsolete. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
