Deactivated Webley MK VI Revolver SN. 4719 *

Availability: In stock

£750.00

Quick Overview

Deactivated British Issue Webley MK VI .455 Calibre Revolver. Very good, original deactivated condition. 1924 dated, Enfield production, with many broad arrow stamps. Another classic pistol in use with empire forces from the late nineteenth century until the end of WWII. They had an excellent reputation as man stoppers and could put down a charging native or German with one shot. The quality of manufacture was also very good and their simple mechanisms stood up well to the mud and abuse they received in the trenches of WWI. Many can still be found in use to this day, especially in Asia and Africa and they are still a formidable weapon to be on the receiving end of. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
