Deactivated Czech Skorpion Wz61 7.65mm Sub Machine Gun with working fake bolt cocking action (under spring pressure), moving safety and trigger and removable magazine. Near mint deactivated condition, in box. The Skorpion Wz61 is a Czechoslovakian 7.65 mm submachine gun (often classified as a machine pistol), developed in the 1950s. They are very reliable little guns and extremely controllable, even in full auto. Although it was developed for use by security forces, the weapon was also accepted into service with the Czechoslovak Army, as a personal sidearm for lower-ranking army staff, vehicle drivers, armoured vehicle personnel and Special Forces. Currently the weapon is in use with the armed forces of several countries, as well as being a favourite of various terrorist organisations around the world. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
