Deactivated EU/ UK Spec Finnish Mosin Nagant M39 Sniper Rifle SN. 9014

Availability: In stock

£650.00

Quick Overview

Deactivated Rare Finnish M39 Mosin Nagant 7.62mm Sniper Rifle in excellent deactivated condition, with full working action and correct leather sling. Sako Manufacture, 1942 dated octagonal receiver with Finnish Army stamps. The German Lisenfeld 4 x 20 scope is post war and not original. The Mosin Nagant M1891Rifle was introduced in 1891 and was the standard issue weapon of all Tsarist Imperial and Soviet forces until 1930. They served with the Finns until the early 1960s. They were a simple, robust design that could continue working in the harsh environment of the Arctic that the local troops often found themselves in. They had good accuracy and a competent shot would have no trouble hitting a man sized target at ranges out to a 1000 metres. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
