Deactivated EU/UK Spec Austrian Army Trials Luger P08

.
Deactivated Austrian Army Luger PO8 9mm Pistol in very good, original deactivated condition with matching numbers excluding the magazine. This example is a very rare Mauser Banner P.08 with Austrian Bundes Heer (Federal Army) "Eagle BH" markings. Only 200 of these pistols were manufactured with a four digit serial number and no suffix for the Austrian Federal Army for experimental purposes circa 1934 to 1936. The pistol has the Mauser "Banner" on the front toggle link and the Austrian "Eagle BH" Army markings on the left side of the frame directly below the takedown lever. There is a commercial "eagle/N" proofmark on the left side of the barrel extension ahead of the serial number. The left side of the frame is marked "P.08".. Full working action and removable magazine. The Luger has been around for over a century now and they are still being made. It is probably the most easily recognised pistol in the world and even my granny could recognise one. They are one of the easiest pistols to shoot, as their natural pointability really does allow you
