Deactivated Enfield Number 2 MK I .38/200 Calibre Snub Revolver in very good original deactivated condition. This particular example has been modified by cutting the barrel down and moving the fore sight. 1934 dated, with Kings Crown stamp. The Enfield Number 2 MK I Revolver was adopted in 1930 and served officially until 1963, but were in service until the late seventies with some units of the British army. They fired the .38/200 cartridge, which had a rather long, heavy bullet (200 grains) and was designed to tumble upon impact and improve stopping power. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
