Deactivated Old Spec 1938 dated Enfield Number 2 MK I .38/200 Calibre Revolver in very good original deactivated condition, with 1941 dated holster and belt and 6 inert rounds. The Enfield Number 2 MK I Revolver was adopted in 1932 and served officially until 1963, but were in service until the late seventies with some units of the British army. They fired the .38/200 cartridge, which had a rather long, heavy bullet (200 grains) and was designed to tumble upon impact and improve stopping power. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
