Deactivated Detonics Off Duty 1911 .45 ACP Pistol by Cooper Firearms, USA in excellent deactivated condition. This special version of the Model 1911 is based on the Detonics concealed carry gun of the 1970s and has several custom features as standard. These include custom cut down slide and frame, advanced rear sight for ease of manual hammer cocking and an Accurizer Bushing and Guide Rod. These are very popular in the US as concealed carry self-defence and back up pistols, as they are easy to conceal but fire the proven .45ACP cartridge. The action is very smooth and tight and there is not another like it in the UK. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
