Deactivated Dan Wesson .38 Special PPC Revolver in excellent deactivated condition. This Dan Wesson Police Pistol Competition Revolver was custom built for fast action combat competition shooting and has been fitted with a heavy duty barrel, Picatinny top rail for your choice of scope and polished action for super fast target acquisition and zero recoil. Dan Wesson revolvers began production in 1968 and were unique in that they featured interchangeable barrels of different length. These very high quality guns usually came with 2, 4, 6 and 8 inch barrels that could be changed out in a few minutes. The design featured an inner barrel and outer sleeve that was tensioned with a nut at the muzzle. They have a very good reputation for accuracy that some attribute to this mounting system. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
