Deactivated CZ52 Pistol

Availability: Out of stock

This item is no longer available and is for refence only

Quick Overview

Deactivated CZ52 9mm Pistol. 1954 dated and in excellent deactivated condition. The CZ52 entered service with the Czech armed forces in 1952 and was in frontline service until 1982. It was an unusual design, as it utilised a roller locked breach just like a MG42 or a G3 rifle. This made it very reliable and accurate, but the high pressure 7.62 x 25mm military ball ammunition developed for it gave it a snappier recoil and loud muzzle blast when compared to similar pistols. For this reason, most of the ones sold on to the civilian market were converted to 9mm Parabellum by the simple expedient of a drop in barrel. This makes them far easier to shoot, but still retain the accuracy and reliability of the original design. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
