Deactivated Colt Model 1892 .41 Calibre Revolver in fair cosmetic, good mechanical deactivated condition. The serial number puts the production date at 1892. The M1892 was Colts first swing out cylinder revolver design and remained in production until 1909, when it was replaced by the Police Positive. It was an extremely popular weapon at the time and was adopted by the US military and issued to hundreds of police forces. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
