Deactivated Colt Army Revolver SN. 1084 ^
Deactivated Brocock Colt Army Cartridge Conversion Revolver in very good condition, with engraved cylinder. Latest EU spec, so moving trigger, hammer, and revolving cylinder, but non firing action. These Brocock revolvers were originally sold as air cartridge firing guns, but these were banned in the UK a few years ago now. The Colt Army Richards-Mason Cartridge Conversion Revolver was first introduced in 1872 and originally designed to fulfil army contracts. Because they had such a stockpile of old cap and ball parts, they started to market them to the general public in 1873, as a cheaper alternative to the brand new Peacemaker. They stopped selling them around the mid 1870s, but lots of gunsmiths made a living converting guns themselves. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
