Deactivated Colt Army .44 Calibre Revolver. Rare Belgian Centaur reproduction in excellent deactivated condition. These were made on original Colt tooling and are far superior to the Italian copies. The Colt 1860 Army Revolver was first introduced in 1860 and remained in production until 1873. They were used extensively in the American Civil War and were predominantly issued to Union troops. Captured examples were much sought after by the confederacy as their copies were of inferior quality. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
