Deactivated Colt 2000 9mm NATO Pistol in mint deactivated condition and complete with spare magazine, mag loader, manual and Colt case. This is the First Edition Model and like all Colt First Editions, is made to a deluxe standard with deep blueing and hardwood grips. The Colt 2000 first appeared in 1992 and was intended to compete in the police and security market with all the other brands. It was unusual for a Colt because it had a double action only, striker fired action, with a rotary barrel. It was made to the usual high standards of other Colt firearms but was not a real commercial success, despite being adopted for a short time by the US Secret Service. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
