Deactivated Cased Colt Navy Revolver SN. 4408 *

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

Deactivated Genuine Colt Navy .36 Calibre Black Powder Revolver in very good deactivated condition. These are made on original Colt tooling at the Colt factory in the US and are far superior to the Italian copies. Complete with lockable hardwood and velvet case, with key, Colt bullet mould, Colt nipple key, powder flask, grease stick, percussion cap tins and lead bullets. The Colt 1851 Navy revolver was first introduced in 1850 and remained in production until 1873. They were used extensively in the American Civil War and were predominantly issued to Union troops. Captured examples were much sought after by the confederacy as their copies were of inferior quality. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
