.
Deactivated Jager Buntline .357 Magnum Calibre Carbine in excellent deactivated condition. This is a modern, German made example of the venerable Colt 1873 Buntline Carbine with a nineteen inch barrel. It is basically a long barrelled 1873, with a stock instead of a pistol grip. Colt only ever made around 3000 of them, as they could not compete with the Winchester. The 1873 Army model was first introduced by Colt in 1873. It has the distinction of having the longest continual production run of any gun in history and has been widely copied all over the world, in every conceivable calibre, barrel length and size. Revolver experts agree that it is one of the best handling wheel guns in the world and is one of the easiest weapons to maintain and shoot instinctively. A total classic in every sense. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
