Deactivated Centurion 9mm Pistol in excellent deactivated condition. The Beretta Centurion is the same as a 92FS, except that it has a double action only trigger mechanism installed. These are popular with police departments, who prefer a double action only trigger. The Beretta Model 92F or M9, as the US military calls it first entered service with the US armed forces in the Mid-1980s. They beat all of the other pistols in the competition to select a new US service pistol (except the Sig P226, which was considered too expensive) and are well liked by the troops issued them. It is an update of the earlier M92 series pistols and they are currently in service with over forty countries, including France, Iran and Turkey. They have also been adopted by hundreds of police forces worldwide. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
