Deactivated Astra A-75 Pistol

Availability: Out of stock

This item is no longer available and is for refence only

Quick Overview

Deactivated Astra A-75 9mm Pistol in excellent deactivated condition and complete with original case, spare magazine, manual and cleaning rod. The Astra A-75 is made in Spain and is basically a copy of the excellent SIG P220 series, but with a different decocker. The P220 entered service with the Swiss army in 1975 and is still produced today. Like all other SIG weapons, they soon gained a fearsome reputation for reliability and accuracy and were soon being adopted by police and armed forces all over the world. These include Japan, Canada, Iran and Germany. The single stack magazine versions are preferred by naval Special Forces units, as they are more reliable in soft sand and silt conditions. Our supplier said that this was a Bundeswehr Naval Commando issue weapon, but we have no providence to back this up. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
