Deactivated ARWEN -37 Riot Gun

Deactivated British ARWEN -37 37mm Riot Gun in very good condition, with full working action and complete with correct sling. The ARWEN 37 is a launcher which fires 37 mm non-lethal rounds designed for riot control, including baton, smoke, CS gas, etc. It has a 5-round rotary drum magazine and automatically ejects the spent case after firing. "ARWEN" is an acronym for `Anti Riot Weapon Enfield’. It was designed in the UK in 1977 by Royal Ordnance Factories and was the result of a request for a multi-shot riot control weapon to replace the various single-shot Riot Guns in use by the British Army in Northern Ireland. Since then it has found favour all over the world with police and military units and is still in use to this day. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
