Deactivated Arisaka Type 38 6.5mm Rifle in very good deactivated condition, with Imperial Chrysanthemum, Nagoya Arsenal stamps, bolt shield, and leather sling with Japanese Kanji script present. The Arisaka Rifle entered service in 1905 and was used until the end of WWII. It was the main battle rifle of the imperial Japanese forces and was used in Mongolia and China, as well as fighting the allies during WWII. It was the longest bolt action rifle in service during the war and was nearly as tall as the troops who used it. Post war testing showed that the Type 38 had one of the strongest actions of all the in service rifles at the time. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
