Deactivated Nazi 8 cm Granatwerfer 34 Mortar. In very good deactivated condition and complete with correct base plate and bipod. The Granatwerfer 34 entered service with the German Army in 1934 and was in use right on up to the end of the War, when production ceased. These were famous for their excellent accuracy and having a very high rate of fire. A fully trained, experienced crew could launch up to 25 shells a minute! It had a range of 2400 metres (the range could be extended by fitting up to three additional powder charges between the shell tailfins) and was capable of firing both high explosive and smoke shells. The P+P on this item will be £50 within the UK. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
