Rare Deactivated Large Ring, Flat Side Mauser C96 7.63mm Pistol. Matching numbers and in very good deactivated condition. This model was only made between 1900 and 1903, with the large ring hammer, flat sided receiver and the push down (as opposed to up) safety. The Mauser C96 was the first successful production semi-automatic pistols in the world and were made to old world standards of engineering and design. There is only one screw in the entire weapon - the grips. Every other part fits together like a jigsaw puzzle. Fantastic German engineering and a total classic design. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
