Antique Whitney Navy Revolver SN. 3370 ^

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

Antique Whitney Navy .36 Calibre Black Powder Revolver in good cosmetic, very good mechanical condition, with strong action and very good bore. The Whitney Navy revolver was first introduced in 1861 and cashed in on the American Civil War. 34,000 Second Models were made, and they were used by both the US Navy and Army between 1862 to 1865. They were issued to Union troops and they were a very well made, no frills design for military issue, that decided to copy from the Remington, rather than the Colt design, as Whitney rightfully concluded that it was the stronger option for military use. Antique firearm. No Licence required.
