Antique Replica British DG Flintlock .45 Calibre Derringer in very good condition with working action. This is a rare example of an early replica/ toy/demonstrator flintlock derringer. It is full size and made from steel. The flintlock mechanism was introduced at the beginning of the 17th century and was in use for over two centuries. Flintlock pistols were used as self-defence weapons and as military arms. Their effective range was short, and they were frequently used alongside a sword or cutlass. VCR Act does not apply.
