Quick Overview

Antique Prussian M1835 Potsdam Jägerbüchse .60 Calibre Percussion Carbine, with 17 inch barrel and 1874 regimentally stamped butt plate. In very good condition, with matching numbers, full working parts and very solid action. The M1835 Percussion Rifles and Carbines were converted from the M1810 flintlock to percussion ignition, and adopted a nipple safety, which is an arm that covers the percussion cap to prevent accidental discharge. They were a quality, lightweight design, and were in use with Prussian forces until the late 1870s, although they were officially replaced by the 1848 Needle Gun. Antique firearm. No Licence required.
