Antique British Brown Bess .75 Calibre Musket in good condition with 39 inch barrel, Tower and King George Crown marked, Wheeler lock, cross sceptre proof stamps, walnut stock and solid working action. The Brown Bess muskets served the British Empire from 1722 until 1838, although they soldiered on with colonial troops for decades after that. It saw service in almost every conflict, the Napoleonic wars, American Revolution and even as late as the Zulu wars. It was a symbol of British imperial power for a century and a half and is a classic in every sense. Obsolete Calibre Antique, no licence required.
