Antique 1842 Pattern Musket

Availability: Out of stock

This item is no longer available and is for refence only

Quick Overview

Antique British 1842 Pattern .75 Calibre Musket in good condition, with full working, solid action, and 1855 dated Tower lock and British military stamped. The butt plate is stamped for the British West India Regiment, who were stationed in the Caribbean from 1785, and spent a lot of their time protecting the colonies and their trade routes from enemy european powers and pirates. They had a practical range of 200 metres and hit like a sledgehammer. A trained British Empire soldier could fire 3 aimed shots a minute, though veterans could manage 4 with ease. A true classic. Antique firearm. No Licence required.
