Rare Dutch Old Spec AR10 7.62mm Assault Rifle in excellent condition. The AR10 was first produced by Armalite in 1957. That same year Eugene Stoner, the designer, also sold the rights to the Dutch firm, Artillerie Inrichtingen. They only made 1000 of them and this is one of them. It was a revolutionary concept at the time and was way ahead of its time. Reports from Portuguese Paratroopers and African troops who used them in bush combat said they were good, reliable weapons, and all agreed that they were very accurate for battle rifles. Features include: Rail system, Fore Grip, High Fold-Down Foresight, Latest Aimpoint Sight, Double Magazine and Fold-Down Rear Sight. SOPMOD stands for Special Operations Peculiar Modification. The M4 is the standard issue American rifle and was an update of the M16/ CAR15. SA80 5.56mm Assault Rifle in excellent condition, with rare prototype dust cover and black cheek piece. SUSAT is real and is in excellent condition. The SA80, or to give it its proper name, the L85A1, entered service in the late 1980s and served until 2002, when the A2 version replaced it with front line units. The SA80 was a radical new design at the time of its introduction but a lot of old soldiers loved their SLRs and were none too happy about replacing them. It was a very accurate weapon out to 800 metres, especially with the SUSAT Sight fitted and this was very useful during the first Gulf War in the vast open tracts of the desert. Old Spec Spectre 9mm Sub Machine Gun. In superb condition and comes with both the 30 and 50 rnd magazines, magazine loader, correct sling, original English instruction manual and very rare carrying `backpack’. The spectre SMG first appeared in 1986 and was designed and built by the Italian company, SITES. It was unusual, in that it had a double action trigger and it could be carried with the internal hammer decocked. All that was needed to fire the weapon was a long and heavy pull on the trigger for the first shot, with light single action for the remainder of the magazine. It fires from a closed bolt, for better accuracy and has unusual quadruple column magazines. They are still on issue to Italian and Swiss special units and have been exported to other end users worldwide. Old Spec Austrian STG 58 7.62mm Assault Rifle in very good condition. These rifles, in all their various versions, were the second most widely adopted assault rifle on earth. Only the AK47 has seen wider service. They were called 'the right hand of the free world' and have been used all over the globe. They are all basically the same and the differences tend to be in styles of furniture, barrel length and flash hiders etc, but they are all the same basic excellent design and they are still the main issue weapon of over 20 countries. Stirling L2A3 sub machine gun in good condition, new spec with moving cocking handle. The Stirling SMG came into service in 1953 and was an issue weapon with the British army for nearly half a century. Old Spec Uzi 9mm Sub Machine Gun in very good condition. The first Uzi submachine gun was designed by Major Uziel Gal and first introduced to IDF Special Forces in 1954, the weapon was placed into general issue two years later. The Uzi has found use as a personal defence weapon by rear-echelon troops, as well as a frontline weapon by elite shock troops. It has more built in safety features than any other SMG and is utterly reliable in all conditions. The Uzi has been exported to over 90 countries. Over its service lifetime, it has been manufactured by Israel Military Industries, FN Herstal, and other manufacturers. From the 1960s through the 1980s, Uzi submachine guns were sold to more military and police markets than any other submachine gun ever made. An absolute classic. Vigneron SMG ** SN. 248Vigneron SMG ** SN. 248
Old Spec Belgian Vigneron Sub Machine Gun in excellent condition and with original leather sling. The Vigneron M2 entered service with the Belgian army and police in 1953 and stayed in service until the late 1980s. It was a conventional blowback design that was well made and reliable. It had better accuracy than most, as it had a rather long barrel. It also was quite user friendly, in that the stock could be adjusted for length and it also had a grip safety and dust cover. On the auto setting, it was still possible to fire in semiautomatic with only a light squeeze of the trigger.
