It was a great improvement on all the other pocket pistols of the time, being easier to grip and operate and actually having a reasonable chance of hitting the target past ten metres. It also has a tip-up barrel, which means that a round can be placed in the barrel, instead of cocking the slide, a feature very popular with women and older people who find it hard to rack the slide. A modern classic. I have personal experience with one of these and it was very accurate and never jammed. It also was very comfortable to fire and was not as ‘snappy’ as other guns of this type and calibre.
