Deactivated S&W Model 586 .357 Magnum Presentation Revolver in excellent deactivated condition, with gold plated controls, scrollwork etchings on the barrel and action and beautiful S&W hardwood grips. Also comes with correct leather holster. The Smith and Wesson 586 is based on the L Frame, which was introduced in 1980 and was designed to be slightly larger than the classic K Frame, so as to withstand the higher pressure of the modern +P Magnum ammunition. They are in use with police forces all over the world, as well as with private individuals who use them for sport and self defence. Like all S&W products, the 586 is made to very high standards and the quality is excellent. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
