Deactivated EU/ UK Spec KPm 44 SMG SN. FKPM

Availability: In stock

£395.00

Quick Overview

Deactivated Finnish KPm 44 9mm Sub Machine Gun in excellent deactivated condition, with moving cocking handle (under spring pressure), trigger and safety. After capturing many Soviet PPS-43 SMGs from the Russian army, the Finns were very impressed by the simple, rugged design and basically copied it for themselves. The main differences were that it fired the 9mm Parabellum round and accepted Suomi SMG box and drum magazines. They were in service from 1945 until the mid 1970s. They were also copied by the Spanish, who manufactured it as the DUX-53. This model was also used by the West German Border Guards. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
